Senior Software Engineer

Disbo is a settlement disbursement and IOLTA compliance platform designed for personal injury law firms and their medical provider partners. As a Senior Software Engineer at Disbo, you will design, build, and maintain the core backend services that power the platform, collaborating with various teams to create secure and scalable software.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build new backend services and APIs supporting trust accounting, payouts, and compliance checks
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and raise the bar through thoughtful code reviews
• Integrate and harden payment and identity rails (Plaid for bank-linking and KYC, Modern Treasury for payment orchestration)
• Optimize performance and improve system observability, data integrity, and security
• Build features that support real-time accounting, reporting, and a complete audit trail
• Contribute to technical strategy and best practices, and mentor other engineers
