Senior Financial Analyst - Accounting - FT - Days - MHS

Memorial Healthcare System is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for the community. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Controller in the preparation of annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports
• Assists with monthly ad-hoc financial analysis and provides customer support as requested
• Produces and manages financial reporting packages and corresponding analysis, which may include accounts like accounts receivable, revenue, cash, or other complex areas
• Responds to requests for analysis and provides analytical support to the Finance management team
• Discusses departmental statements with department heads and investigates any material variances
• Performs monthly close of assigned entities
• Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported with proper documentation
• Assists in the preparation of the assigned entities annual operating budget

Requirements:

• Bachelors (Required)
• Three (3) years experience
• Accounting or Finance or In a job related field
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
