Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
to join a collaborative, hospital-employed anesthesia team providing comprehensive perioperative care in a modern community hospital setting.

Position Overview
The Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical specialties while working closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Anesthesia Services
• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient evaluations
• Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and provide post-anesthesia care
Surgical Case Coverage
Provide anesthesia services for procedures including:
• Endoscopy
• Orthopedic Surgery
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Spine Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• ENT (Otolaryngology)
Patient Safety & Collaboration
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based anesthesia practices and patient safety standards
• Respond to perioperative emergencies as needed
Documentation & Quality
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and procedural documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of New York
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Practice Highlights

Call Schedule
• Approximately 1:5 call rotation
• Call weeks run Wednesday through Tuesday
• Approximately 9–10 call weeks annually
• Includes 1–2 holiday call assignments per year
• Regular weekday schedule continues during call weeks
