Renaissance Life & Health Insurance Company of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. In this role, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for members, groups, providers, and partners, helping customers understand their benefits and providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource for customers by responding to inquiries via phone, email, web chat, voicemail, and written correspondence
- Research and resolve questions using multiple systems and information resources
- Explain coverage details and benefit information clearly and accurately
- Provide professional, courteous, and timely service while meeting quality standards
- Process and manage customer-related documentation, messages, and communications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Support additional customer service activities as business needs evolve
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a customer service environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer applications simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Comfortable working across various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat
- Prior call center experience is a plus
- Life and Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one is preferred
