As a Junior Associate Product Controller in the Global Investment Banking Product Control team, you will support the accuracy and integrity of financial records through strong controls and disciplined close processes. You will partner with stakeholders across Product Control, Financial Control, Operations, Technology, and regional teams to maintain a robust control environment and deliver reliable financial results. You will help ensure regulatory and policy compliance, identify control risks, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and adaptability.
Job responsibilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with minimum 3 years of experience including strong accounting and double entry skills.
Proven ability to identify and resolve control and risk management issues impacting financial results.
Confident communicator with effective verbal, written, and listening skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed to delivering results.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience with banking products and financial services industry awareness.
Experience with general ledger, client billing or P&L aggregator systems.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements, including Volcker Reporting.
Track record of driving process improvements and control enhancements.
