About this role
Pacific Life Insurance Company is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Life Web Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and delivering cutting-edge self-service capabilities for customers on external facing websites and enabling marketing technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop & Deliver end to end solutions to meet business needs and build as per enterprise architecture guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Own end-to-end feature development, from concept to deployment
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system stability concerns
- Design, Develop & Maintain end to end CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ Years of software development experiences with minimum 2 years of experience as Full Stack Engineer
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React)
- Strong proficiency in server-side languages (Node.js)
- Experience with other programming languages like Python and/or Java is a plus
- Experience with AWS Cloud services and serverless computing
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/RESTful/GraphQL API design
- Experience with database technologies (SQLServer, PostgreSql, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with Work Management platforms Azure DevOps or similar platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools
- Experience with an Integration Platform like Mulesoft is a plus
- Knowledge of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection
