About this role
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure administration, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and End User Computing (EUC).
- Administer and support Nerdio Manager for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 environments.
- Deploy, configure, and manage AVD host pools, session hosts, app groups, workspaces, and FSLogix profiles.
- Manage Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Backup, Entra ID, and RBAC.
- Implement auto-scaling, image lifecycle management, cost optimization, and performance tuning using Nerdio.
- Configure Azure security features including Conditional Access, MFA, Azure Policies, Microsoft Defender, and identity protection.
- Troubleshoot AVD performance, connectivity, user profile, and networking issues while ensuring high availability.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, and scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Support patching, golden image updates, change management, disaster recovery, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure virtual desktop solutions.
