Artisight transforms hospital operations with its Smart Hospital Platform, helping health systems reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance patient care. The Staff Engineer will drive the technical vision for the next-generation edge software platform and provide critical technical leadership while contributing hands-on expertise to IoT sensor technology.
Responsibilities:
- Drive technical vision and strategy for our revolutionary Edge software platform that powers healthcare transformation
- Architect and implement solutions for provisioning, customizing operating systems, and establishing fleet maintenance best practices across customer deployments
- Perfect our WebRTC and SIP A/V stack to deliver exceptional experiences in challenging healthcare environments
- Integrate and deploy AI models from our data science team onto inferencing appliances, bridging the gap between innovation and implementation
- Develop seamless integrations with diverse hardware ecosystems including cameras, microphones, speakers, TVs, and specialized hospital equipment
- Contribute directly to our technical codebase with focus on system-level engineering, performance optimization, and bulletproof reliability
- Mentor engineering talent across teams while ensuring interoperability and cohesive technical direction
Requirements:
- 10+ years professional software development experience building robust, scalable systems
- 5+ years senior-level engineering or technical leadership experience in security-conscious domains like Fintech or Healthcare
- Deep technical fluency across every aspect of a healthy SDLC, from conception to deployment
- Mastery of modern software stack fundamentals: networking, virtualization, containerization, build pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
- Strong practical expertise in Go (required)
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible
- Advanced knowledge of defensive programming and system-level security principles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Django

- Knowledge of RTP/RTSP and SIP protocols
