Aidoc is revolutionizing clinical decision-making with real-time clinical AI imaging solutions, impacting over 60 million patients annually. The Director of Tax and Treasury will own Aidoc’s Tax and Treasury functions, develop financial policies, and serve as a trusted advisor on complex financial initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Own, develop, and continuously update Aidoc’s tax & financial policies
- Build and maintain the global financial policy including our tax and accounting, considering business alignment and risk assessments
- Drive policy adoption: translate complex technical guidance into operational practice, and ensure clear communication to stakeholders around the ‘why’ behind each policy
- Work closely with Legal, Accounting, and external advisors and represent Aidoc externally on finance-related matters in fundraising, M&A due diligence, and IPO readiness processes
- Own and operate these domain with precision, sophistication and policy-thinking
- Build and maintain Aidoc’s investment and hedging policies; execute FX risk management and cash optimization strategies
- Manage corporate banking relationships and oversee currency liquidity operations
- Own equity and cap table-related financial management end-to-end: cap table governance, equity compliance, administration of grants and exercises, management of the equity planning pool (including headroom modeling, grant planning, and refresh cycles), dilution monitoring, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders on equity-linked transactions
- Partner with the organization to assess the financial implications of new products, business models, and strategic transactions, ensuring that the right tax position, accounting treatment and compliance framework are established before decisions are made. Examples include structured partnership agreements (with R&D, and commercial initiatives), R&D capitalization, and new business model launches
- Lead cross-functional finance workstreams on complex corporate initiatives, coordinating with Legal, external advisors, and business stakeholders to bring ambiguous situations to a clear, defensible conclusion
- Own Aidoc’s finance-side readiness for cybersecurity events: map financial exposures, define the finance team’s role and decision rights during an incident, establish response procedures, and ensure the organization is prepared before an event occurs rather than improvising during one
- Take on hard problems as they arise: exercise judgment on trade-offs, manage uncertainty, and deliver outcomes in areas where there is no established playbook
