" Aloha Nursing Rehab Centre is a long term care facility in Kaneohe that operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week. We are seeking a friendly and reliable candidate with excellent communication skills to fill our part-time Receptionist position. This entry level position is perfect for a high school or college student to gain costumer service experience after school hours. This position is a great way to get started in the healthcare setting with many opportunities for growth within the nursing and therapeutic field. If you have a positive attitude and a desire to serve others, we want you on our team. Duties include, performing clerical support in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the Department Manager or designee. Effectively operates the facilty multi-line phone and overhead paging systems. The Receptionist creates the first impression for all visitors and guests in person and over the phone.

Job Duties: • Assists families and directs visitors as needed • Keeps the nurses’ stations neat and orderly • Informs licensed staff of residents leaving on temporary passes after ensuring that the passbook is signed by the responsible parties • Supports the facility’s vision, mission, philosophy and core values • Conducts self in a professional manner that is aligned with the facility’s core values • Maintains knowledge of proper infection control and safety procedures • Maintains current physical examination and TB clearance per regulation • Performs other duties as assigned or required"

Requirements

Strong communication & interpersonal skills; punctual/reliable; excellent multi tasking skills; Microsoft office & basic computer skills.

Covid vaccine is required, no booster is needed.
