Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Assists residents with activities of daily living
• Keeps residents rooms neat and orderly
• Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Communicates pertinent resident status information to appropriate person(s)
• Documents ADL care and any observed changes when providing care to the residents
• Organizes personal workload for efficient time management
• Stores and replenishes unit supplies
• Maintains confidentiality of all information regarding resident care and pertinent medical records
• Communicates any requests from resident and/or family member to RN or LPN
• Provides general nursing care
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Must be physically able to perform CPR
• Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Build cooperative working relationships with others
• Ability to operate a computer and use various programs
• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and provide care appropriate to the age and special needs of patient served

Requirements

"Experience: Three (3) months experience in a long-term care or home care or willing/motivated to be trained in a long-term care facility

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a State of Hawaii Nurses Aide Certification. Current BLS Health Care Provider certification
