POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting Patient Financial
Services Representative II and Patient Access staff to ensure that all tasks
assigned are completed timely and accurately. Creates accounts
pre-registration.

PRE-REGISTRATION
Creates new account, in the system (i.e. Affinity) from Inpatient and
Outpatient referral request, from Inpatient (IP) Central Registration within
same day as requested
Validates eligibility
Documents in account notes, benefits documents in account notes, Medicare
information
Documents in account notes, prescription (RX) benefits for Inpatients
Follows up with the referral source to obtain missing registration information
REGISTRATION SUPPORT
Provides assistance as needed to support timely outpatient and inpatient
admissions and arrivals for therapy.
Perform Front-Desk duties
Perform Inpatient registration duties
CLERICAL SUPPORT
Provides clerical support for the Patient Financial Services (PFS) department
Documents claim submission date in account notes
Documents information from third party payer correspondence in account notes
Connects supporting documentation to electronic claim as needed"
Requirements
No covid vaccine is necessary.
Highly organized with attention to details.
Typing skills; able to type at least 45 wpm. Demonstrates proficient verbal and
written communication skills in English.
