Central Health is actively looking for dedicated and compassionate Clinical Medical Assistant students to become a part of our healthcare team. As a Clinical Medical Assistant student, you will have the invaluable opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing crucial support to our healthcare providers. This position opens doors for you to collaborate closely with our experienced medical staff, interact with patients, and make a meaningful contribution to the overall success of our practice.
Job duties:
-Gain practical experience in assisting
healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
-Learn how to accurately record patient medical history and vital signs.
--Observe and participate in maintaining clean and organized examination rooms.
-Develop the skills to administer medications and injections under professional
guidance.
-Get hands-on experience in performing basic laboratory tests and handling
specimens.
-Learn to schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
-Gain exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems and contribute to data
accuracy.
-Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients and addressing
their questions and concerns.
-Understand the importance of patient education regarding medications,
procedures, and general health.
-Experience the adherence to healthcare regulations and protocols firsthand.
