We're looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented medical assistant to assist our ophthalmologist. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and prioritize tasks based on urgency. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to expand their knowledge, advance their career and build their resume.
Responsibilities:
- Recognize and know how to respond to emergency situations.
- Demonstrate professionalism.
- Perform tasks accurately and conform to specific guidelines.
- Know basic medical terminology.
- Have knowledge of ophthalmic terms.
- Be able to perform administrative tasks.
Ophthalmology experience is desirable but not required for the right candidate.
Assessments are not optional."
