Business Development Manager, Outside Sales

Naviga is a leader in fire safety and protection for commercial cooking operations, dedicated to ensuring safety and operational efficiency. They are seeking a Business Development Manager for Outside Sales to develop and grow relationships with customers, manage the sales cycle, and contribute to the company's growth targets.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
• Identify, grow, and penetrate new sales opportunities and execute all levels of the sales process, including developing solutions and pricing strategies
• Conduct physical visits to customer locations to assess needs and provide solutions, with a demonstrated working knowledge of NFPA96 standards for fire protection of commercial cooking operations
• Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports for business operations
• Develop and manage quotes and contracts to meet customer needs and business plans
• Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Participate in management meetings and contribute to sales improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
• General knowledge of building fire safety and the ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency with various digital tools and technologies, including a computer, smartphone, and common software applications, to complete job tasks efficiently
