Job Title: Senior Architect Advanced Robotics Platform

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction of an advanced robotics control platform supporting a wide range of robotic systems across a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on evolving a robotics ecosystem built on ROS 2 and EtherCAT, driving platform enhancements, performance optimization, and new feature development while mentoring engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction of a robotics control platform built on ROS 2 and EtherCAT.
- Own the existing robotics platform and drive maintenance, optimization, scalability, and architectural improvements.
- Design and implement new features across the robotics ecosystem.
- Develop and support robotics perception systems using Physical AI.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership and best practices.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, including an international team based in Thailand.
- Support multiple robotic platforms including industrial robots, AMRs, cobots, humanoids, quadrupeds, and drones.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience architecting robotics control systems.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with ROS 2.
- Strong robotics software engineering background.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing existing platform architecture.
- Experience developing or supporting Physical AI-based perception systems.
- Ability to lead technical design while remaining hands-on.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EtherCAT in robotics or real-time control environments.
- Experience supporting diverse robotics platforms (AMRs, Cobots, Humanoids, Quadrupeds, Drones, etc.).
- Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or advanced robotics.
- Experience working with distributed or international engineering teams.
