Clinical Data Specialist

Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company focused on transforming clinical research to improve patient outcomes. The Clinical Data Specialist plays a critical role in supporting clinical trial operations by conducting detailed EHR reviews, maintaining research databases, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the patient pre-screening process.

Responsibilities:

• Review electronic health records (EHRs) to identify patients who may qualify for active clinical research studies
• Interpret study protocols and eligibility criteria to determine appropriate patient populations for recruitment
• Build and maintain databases of potential study participants across multiple research programs
• Document patient pre-screening activities and findings in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with research sites and clinical teams to support participant recruitment initiatives
• Support research sites within the Iterative Health network through data collection, documentation, and operational coordination activities
• Assist with scheduling patient visits and coordinating research-related appointments
• Perform accurate and timely data entry into clinical research databases and internal systems
• Maintain study-related records and tracking tools to support operational efficiency and reporting needs
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
• Handle protected health information (PHI) and research data in a confidential, compliant, and secure manner
• Adhere to company policies, study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of all documentation and data-related activities
