Facets Developer / Integration Engineer

Cognizant is a leading health plan organization seeking a Facets Developer / Integration Engineer to design and support healthcare integrations. The role involves collaborating with various teams to deliver scalable solutions for critical enrollment and claims processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom interfaces and integrations for the TriZetto Facets platform following SDLC best practices
• Support health plan enrollment systems and ensure the reliability and performance of critical business processes
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate functional requirements
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical design documents and implement scalable solutions
• Collaborate with offshore development teams, QA partners, and release management teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
• Troubleshoot application issues, implement enhancements, and provide post-production support to maintain system stability

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with TriZetto Facets development, configuration, and healthcare system integrations
• Strong development experience using .NET technologies
• Advanced SQL skills, including database design, development, performance tuning, and query optimization
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including scripting and system operations
• Experience with TIDAL job scheduling and workload automation tools
• Strong understanding of US Healthcare payer operations, including Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into technical solutions and design documentation
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, deployment processes, and production support
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience supporting large-scale health plan enrollment platforms
• Exposure to healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements
• Experience working with distributed and offshore development teams
• Knowledge of interface design, system integration, and enterprise architecture principles
• Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release management activities
