About this role
Responsibilities include:
- Development and maintenance of COBOL programs supporting life insurance systems
- Working with CyberLife (or similar life insurance platforms) for policy, billing, and claims processing
- Debugging, performance tuning, and production support
- Collaborating with business analysts and QA on requirements and testing
Required experience:
- Strong COBOL development experience in a mainframe environment (z/OS)
- Background in life insurance systems, highly preferred CyberLife
- Experience with JCL, VSAM/DB2, and batch/online processing
Nice to have:
- Exposure to modernization or integration with distributed systems
