Summary:
This newly created role will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including A/P, A/R, month-end close processes, and various financial management reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily ACH and credit card deposits

Daily electronic payments
-
Daily COD payment reminders, emails and phone calls

New customer credit application processing and collection of supporting documentation
-
New vendor processing and collection of supporting documentation
-
Collections on past due customer accounts, emails and phone calls.

Weekly creation of Exec/Sales scorecards
-
Month-end sales reporting
-
Innovative month end journal entry preparation and upload
-
Innovative month end credit card processing
-
Innovative monthly account reconciliations
-
Innovative monthly use tax calculation
-
Innovative monthly customer statements
-
Incur payroll entries
-
Incur month end journal entry preparation
-
Incur monthly account reconciliations
-
Incur monthly financial preparation
-
Year End schedules for tax returns
-
Maintain a paperless filing system for all activities within the scope of this position

Requirements

Associates Degree or higher in accounting or business
-
5-7 years of accounting experience
-
High attention to detail
-
Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines

Experience working in an ERP software environment

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and other Microsoft Office software

Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime.

Ability to multi-task

Excellent interpersonal skills and dealing with internal and external customers

Good organizational skills, keeping work area clean and well organized
