Software Engineer (4+ years of experience)

Anrok is a leading tax automation platform that simplifies global compliance for businesses. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with team members to understand customer needs, design systems, and develop product features to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the scoping, design, and development of product features
• Identify and fix bugs and technical debt
• Collaborate with Support to address technical issues for customers

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer
• 2+ years of experience building web application backends
• Strong technical background
• Think through problems thoroughly to ensure we're building the right solution to the right problem at the right time
• Ability to push back when necessary
• Designs take into account current and future needs, technical debt, and maintenance
• Ability to clearly articulate the tradeoffs
• Level up the people around you by sharing your knowledge and experience
• Curious and motivated to learn new tools
• Experience with frontend development is a plus, but not required
• You've experimented with AI in your work or on your own, you're excited about what's possible, and you've built something with it (an application, a workflow, a creative solution to a real problem) that you can walk us through
