Director of Business Development: Distribution and Commercial Partnerships

Conceptra Biosciences is seeking a Director of Business Development focused on Distribution and Commercial Partnerships. This leadership role will drive commercial growth and expand strategic partnerships within the healthcare sector, particularly with wholesalers and specialty pharmacies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead national business development and partnership strategy
• Build and manage relationships with wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, health systems, GPOs, IDNs, and telehealth providers
• Identify and secure new commercial opportunities that drive revenue growth and expand market reach
• Negotiate and manage complex distribution, licensing, and commercial partnership agreements
• Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Trade, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory teams
• Support product launches by establishing distribution channels and strategic partnerships
• Evaluate emerging market opportunities, distribution models, and channel strategies
• Own measurable growth objectives tied to revenue, partnerships, and market expansion

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty pharmacy, distribution, or healthcare business development
• Proven success building strategic partnerships and driving commercial growth
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution, market access, and trade channels
• Track record of managing executive-level partner relationships
• Ability to travel approximately 30–50%
• Women's health, reproductive health, specialty pharma, or specialty care experience
• Existing network within pharmaceutical distribution and commercial channels
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches
• Exposure to telehealth partnerships
• MBA or other advanced degree
