Chasepro is a company focused on integrating security into software development processes, and they are seeking a Business Process Analyst to design and document end-to-end business processes. The role involves collaborating with various teams to define secure software development processes and ensure their adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document cross-functional business processes from scratch
- Integrate security requirements into SDLC (Secure SDLC / DevSecOps)
- Create process artifacts such as workflows, swimlane diagrams, and procedures
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and gather requirements independently
- Translate security policies into practical engineering workflows
- Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies in existing processes
- Support vulnerability management, risk tracking, and compliance workflows
- Maintain structured, version-controlled documentation
- Facilitate workshops with engineering and security teams
- Improve and standardize security-related processes
Requirements:
- Strong process modeling and systems thinking (process design from scratch)
- Cross-functional communication and stakeholder influence
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and gather information proactively
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software development workflows
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams
- Background in Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Technical Writing, or Program Management roles
- Experience creating new processes (not just improving existing ones)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Secure SDLC / DevSecOps experience
- Basic knowledge of threat modeling
- Vulnerability management and risk workflows
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST
- Exposure to audits, compliance, or security reviews
- Tools experience: Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines
