Senior DevOps Engineer :: Remote :: W2/Fulltime

HYR Global Source Inc is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and optimize deployment processes. The role involves collaboration with software engineering teams and implementing Infrastructure as Code to enhance development efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Build and optimize automated deployment processes for applications running in on-premises and GCP environments
• Manage and administer GitHub repositories, workflows, branch protection rules, and repository security
• Develop reusable CI/CD templates, workflows, and automation to improve developer productivity
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar technologies
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot deployment failures, and optimize build performance
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve application deployment strategies and release processes
• Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for deployment and platform health
• Document platform architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
• Experience supporting deployments across both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Familiarity with networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, and security best practices
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
