Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer - TypeScript

Vertraus, Inc. is hiring a Senior AWS Full Stack Engineer for a remote position to develop and architect cloud-native full stack applications. The role involves building scalable backend services using AWS Serverless technologies, developing React and TypeScript front-end applications, and modernizing legacy applications through cloud migration. The engineer will also mentor others, participate in architecture discussions, and collaborate with cloud engineering teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop cloud-native full stack applications
• Build scalable backend services using AWS Serverless technologies
• Develop React + TypeScript front-end applications
• Design and implement Node.js APIs and AWS Lambda functions
• Modernize legacy applications through cloud migration
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Mentor engineers, participate in architecture discussions, and lead technical decisions
• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions

Requirements:

• AWS Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, EventBridge)
• Hands-on experience writing AWS Lambda functions in TypeScript and clearly explaining the business logic behind them
• React + TypeScript (Frontend) Required
• Node.js + TypeScript (Backend)
• Serverless Framework
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• DataDog Monitoring
• AI integration experience (Claude Code or similar AI coding tools)
• Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS/Fargate)
• DynamoDB, RDS, DocumentDB
• CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps)
• Azure or GCP Certifications
