NZero is an energy intelligence company providing a suite of energy management softwares and services. They are seeking a Founding Customer Success Manager to build and run delivery for EnergyPilot AI, focusing on client onboarding, platform adoption, and account health.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for a named enterprise account
- Drive platform onboarding and user adoption milestones
- Build the onboarding and enablement playbook from scratch — training decks, quick-reference guides, champion materials — that scales to future ESP/OEM accounts
- Facilitate regular business reviews and executive-level reporting
- Coordinate with NZero's internal product and data teams to resolve client needs
- Identify expansion opportunities and surface them to NZero leadership
Requirements:
- A track record of building a customer success function from scratch — not just operating within one — at an early-stage or fast-growing SaaS company (roughly 3-6 years experience; we care more about what you've built than the year count)
- Comfortable owning ambiguity in a lean, fast-moving team
- Experience implementing and administering CRM and sales operations tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Technically literate enough to guide customers through platform/config questions without pulling in engineering for every issue
- Familiarity with energy management, building performance, HVAC, or ESG reporting a strong plus
