Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will analyze business requirements, develop database solutions, and resolve production issues, contributing to improved health outcomes and system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of software engineering processes: Design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile and dev-ops
• Analyze business requirements to develop database solutions for Health Care and Reporting systems
• Provide support for Service Availability, Stability & application performance
• Resolve production issues by code debugging, analyzing logs, perform reverse engineering to find the root cause and suggest permanent fix within SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Available for production deployments/troubleshooting during off hours/weekends

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies (FSE)
• 5+ years of experience with JCL, COBOL
• 5+ years of experience with DB2, SQL
• 5+ years of experience with CICS, API
• 5+ years of experience in REXX
• 4+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban principles
• 4+ years of knowledge of Airflow or TWSd batch jobs
• 4+ years of experience in managing code migration through the various stages for the release
