Senior Industrial Designer, Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD) team, Hardware Industrial Design

Amazon's Hardware Industrial Design team is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Industrial Designer to work on our next-generation of devices and accessories. The role involves leading design projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering world-class design solutions that enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• This Designer will be directly responsible for delivering all aspects of the physical experience, from concepts and prototypes all the way to production
• This designer will lead and work collaboratively within a team of other designers, researchers, engineers and program managers, creating a holistic product experience at the highest standards for our customers
• A successful candidate will deliver world-class design solutions and have the creativity and judgment to translate a customer centric design vision into concepts that are simple, intuitive and visually refined despite underlying complexity or constraints
• This designer will possess an exceptional eye for detail, form and proportion and must embrace a highly iterative approach to design informed by the latest technologies and industry trends
• Additionally, this designer must be articulate and possess the communication skills to convey proposals and specifications to other teams and disciplines within the organization at all levels
• This position is expected to lead the most demanding projects, pushing the limits of the Industrial design while collaborating with other discipline and departmental leaders
• This position helps advance Industrial Design practices through deep understanding of the specific design field and related technologies, identifying and mastering best-in-class methods and processes for achieving creative excellence in current and future Amazon products
• Consistently exhibiting the ability to break new ground within the field of Industrial design
• This position demonstrates thought leadership and influence both within their org and outside it
