Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support enterprise application delivery and cloud infrastructure automation for Northern Trust. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and PowerShell. Experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and ARM/Bicep templates.
Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
Manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Integrate code repositories using Git and automate deployments.
Monitor applications and infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency.
Implement DevSecOps best practices, security controls, and compliance requirements.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and support production environments.
Required Skills
7+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in Azure DevOps.
Strong experience with Azure DevOps Services, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Boards.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault, VMs).
Experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and containerization.
Experience with Git, PowerShell, Bash, and scripting.
Knowledge of CI/CD, release management, and automation.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID).
