
The Assistant Project Manager I assists the Program team in coordinating internal and external resources in support of meeting specific Program cost, schedule, quality, and safety goals. This includes developing programmatic deliverables and working with stakeholders to track and manage schedule, budget, quality, risk, and safety.
This role is an individual contributor position with no direct people-management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Integrated Program Team, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships and influencing peers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives within their assigned scope. Success in this role requires strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to effectively drive alignment and outcomes across diverse teams without formal authority.
The incumbent will be expected to consistently apply project management best practices, including planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and performance tracking, to ensure the successful delivery of program and project objectives.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

The estimated salary for this position is $84,600 - $103,400. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
