Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack), Digital Storefront

Toast provides technology that helps restaurants streamline operations, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional guest experiences through its platform. The Senior Software Engineer will develop and improve consumer-facing Digital Storefront products, including Online Ordering, VoiceAI, branded Websites, and Branded Mobile Apps. The role involves designing scalable solutions, collaborating with Product and Design teams, identifying high-impact opportunities, and delivering seamless customer experiences.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing fullstack web applications as a professional software engineer
• Familiar with frontend frameworks like React or Angular, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap
• Familiar with backend technologies like Java/Kotlin and NodeJS
• Experience building on AWS services with tools like Docker, and Git
• Comfortable turning high-fidelity UX designs from Figma into reality
• Passionate about writing testable code, with experience in API design and unit/integration testing
