The Associate Manager, Upstream Marketing will lead a team of marketers and manage product responsibilities for the Shoulder Arthroplasty implant portfolio, driving marketing strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead upstream marketing strategy by defining product vision, market strategy, portfolio roadmaps, and long-term growth plans aligned with business objectives
- Drive customer and market insights through segmentation, voice of customer, competitive intelligence, and unmet needs analysis to influence product development and innovation
- Develop compelling value propositions and product positioning while partnering cross-functionally to ensure customer needs are translated into successful product strategies
- Guide portfolio and lifecycle management by leading pricing strategy, evidence generation, product lifecycle planning, and strategic investment decisions
- Partner across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Sales, and Finance to develop business cases, launch strategies, and commercialization plans that accelerate growth
- Leverage data and financial insights to build forecasts, business cases, budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics that support strategic decision-making
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders to shape product strategy, clinical evidence generation, and market adoption
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team by coaching talent, fostering innovation, driving strategic thinking, and promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience
- MBA
- Minimum 3 years medical device or marketing/sales experience
- Experience with developing software on the Hololens Mixed Reality Technology
