We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate and direct a large-scale transition to a new Special Education Student Information System (SIS). The ideal candidate will ensure system implementation decisions align with compliance requirements while managing vendor design, configuration, testing, and rollout across districts.
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must reside within the contiguous United States)

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project direction, issue resolution, and cross-team coordination.
- Guide vendor system design, data configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Lead rollout planning, large-scale training coordination, and district user adoption.
- Ensure all system features and deployment milestones meet strict reporting and compliance standards.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- Project Management (5+ Years): Technical PM experience utilizing Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Tools (5+ Years): Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
- Databases & Cloud (5+ Years): Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres).
- Testing & Risk (5+ Years): Manual or automated test case management and risk mitigation tracking.
- Integrations (3+ Years): Experience supporting Student Information Systems using data integration tools (ETL platforms, APIs).
- Compliance & Identity (3+ Years): Access management technologies (SSO, SAML, AzureAD) and compliance reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Special Education Student Information Systems at a large school district or state level.
- Experience developing, coordinating, and leading large-scale user training.
- Background in Change Management frameworks and ITIL post-go-live operations.
