- Location: Lansing, MI (Candidates must be local within 120 miles at submission)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Mondays and Tuesdays on-site (Non-negotiable)
- Interview Process: 1-Round Virtual Interview (Rigorous, all-technical panel)
Core Technical Skills (Required)
- Operating Systems: 8+ years of RHEL experience AND 8+ years of Windows Server experience.
- Cloud Architecture: Designing/architecting native and hybrid cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Middleware/AppServers: Strong familiarity with WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.
Preferred & Desired Skills
- Databases: Decent knowledge of SQL and Oracle (Architecting redundant/scalable deployments).
- Automation & DevOps: Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
- Containers: Exposure to container orchestration via Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Networking & Security: 3+ years of Network Administration, securing web apps/databases, WAF, and Cloudflare.
- Documentation: 5+ years creating detailed network/system diagrams using Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
- Industry Experience: Prior Public Sector / State Government experience is highly desired.
Core Responsibilities
- System Design: Create, maintain, and verify enterprise-level infrastructure designs, data models, and data flow diagrams.
- Data Governance: Define and enforce data standards, security controls, classification policies, and data retention strategies.
- Migrations & Integrations: Lead environment consolidation, software integration, and migration efforts across application teams.
- Technical Advisory: Provide structural and cost-effective recommendations based on Technical Impact Analysis (TIA).

- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Compliance: Resource must meet all core technical requirements from the start of the assignment.
