What you'll do as a Real Estate Specialist:

• Under supervision of the Real Estate Administrator, negotiate, research & prepare all legal documentation required in real estate transactions for acquisition, lease, etc. for the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS).

• Manage daily operations involving lease evaluation &/or negotiation concerns.

• Review lease program activities to ensure compliance with fiscal related policies & procedures.

• Analyze & evaluate programs & procedures by identifying problems during lease review, providing resolutions & recommending proposed modifications to current lease review processes.

36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in real estate, property management or related field; travel required, must be able to provide own transportation.

Option 2:

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, real estate, property management or related field

AND 12 mos. trg. or exp. in real estate or property management; travel required, must be able to provide own transportation.

-Or Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel is required; infrequent overnight travel may be required; on rare occasions may be exposed to unpleasant weather conditions & high temperatures; may be required to work flexible hours based on scheduled appointments.
