The TikTok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. The team is responsible for building the TikTok Ecommerce partnership for the TikTok e-commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. We are looking for a highly analytical, business-oriented, and self-motivated intern to join the User Growth Strategy team supporting the TIKTOP SHOP EBHV (Electronics, Books, Home & Living & Verticals) business.
In this role, you will work closely with Business Strategy, Category, Product, Marketing, and Data Science teams to identify user growth opportunities, support strategic decision-making, and build scalable analytics capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in e-commerce, marketplace strategy, growth analytics, and data-driven business planning.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities:
- Support user growth strategy by conducting data-driven analyses and identifying actionable business opportunities.
- Analyze user lifecycle, acquisition, retention, and purchasing behaviors to identify key growth drivers.
- Conduct industry and category analyses to evaluate growth opportunities across users, products, merchants, channels, and categories.
- Identify high-potential acquisition products, merchants, and supply characteristics to support category growth initiatives.
- Build analytical frameworks to answer business questions and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets.
- Prepare business review materials, strategy presentations, and executive-ready insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Strategy, Category, Product, Marketing, and Data Science on high-impact growth initiatives.
- Support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as business needs arise.
