
Old Buckenham Hall School is looking for an experienced Science and DT Technician to provide high-quality technical support and ensure the safe, efficient and efficient delivery of the curriculum.
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring young pupils by enabling engaging, hands-on practical activities while maintaining an organised and safe laboratory environment. You will provide technical support to teaching staff and students, ensuring practical science lessons are engaging, safe and well-resourced. You will work closely with teachers and fellow technicians to prepare equipment and materials, maintain laboratories, support practical activities and contribute to the smooth running of the department.
This position is part time for 20 hours, term-time only but exact hours and days can be flexible.
All staff, contractors, volunteers have a responsibility and duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils. Staff must be aware of the systems within the school which support safeguarding and must act in accordance with the School’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and Code of Conduct. Staff will receive appropriate child protection training which is regularly updated.
