Specialist Cyber Security Culture (m/f/d)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Cyber Security Strategy product family provides the cyber security strategies and architectures for the BASF Group, the steering of Cyber Security project programs, remediation management for critical incidents, consultancy across BASF’s Cyber Security portfolio, establishes the key-pillars of a risk-based Cyber Security culture and supports the secure integration of AI within BASF.  

As a product team of this family, Cyber Security Culture is establishing a Cyber Security culture at BASF through regular communications, relevant awareness raising initiatives and training programs tailored to individual stakeholder needs. These activities are implemented via a global Cyber Security community, which is coordinated by the team. 

• Develop and enhance WordPress plugins (backend & UI) 

• Support SharePoint (SPFx) development using React for the Secure Together portal 

• Build and style UI components (tiles, forms, dashboards) 

• Work with APIs and integrations to connect systems and enable personalization 

• Troubleshoot bugs and continuously improve performance and usability 

• Support role‑based experiences, depending on the stakeholder groups and work on integrations with Cyber Security ecosystem 

• Maintain and further develop PowerBI Dashboards with various data sources.  
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Degree in Information Technology. Alternatively, a degree in Business Administration or similar with a very high affinity for IT 

• Basic JavaScript/TypeScript experience 

• Some familiarity with React (or willingness to learn) 

• Strong HTML / CSS 

• General understanding of how web apps/APIs work 

• Fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus 

• Reliability, responsiveness and flexibility, excellent communication skills, high motivation, teamwork skills.
