About this role
E-IT is a company seeking to fill the role of Senior Application Engineer. The main purpose of this role is to develop and modernize banking applications, leveraging extensive experience in application modernization and cloud services.

- Develop and modernize banking applications
Requirements:
- Scala and C#
- Containerized Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
- Distributed & Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS, EventBridge)
- Experience with CI/CD and build pipelines
- SQL/NoSQL Data Layer Technologies
- Experience working on Cloud/AWS services
- Must have hands-on experience with Claude Code (or at least Codex, or Cursor)
- Experience with large-scale application modernization and migration projects
- Experience working with high-volume transaction processing systems
- Experience with reverse engineering of legacy code and identifying external integration touchpoints (adapters)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with hands on coding experience
- TypeScript
- Banking, Financial Services, and Payment Gateway domains
- Experience with payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, and financial integrations
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
