Data Architect / Analytics Engineer (Databricks)

Prominence Advisors is an award-winning data enablement firm revolutionizing healthcare. They are seeking a Data Architect / Analytics Engineer with strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience with Databricks to design and deploy advanced analytics solutions for leading healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with raw data to transform it into meaningful, actionable information
• Design data models that scale in size and complexity
• Develop and deploy analytics solutions to meet customer needs
• Guide customers through complex, new or unfamiliar technology requirements and compile ambiguous information into actionable plans
• Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts

Requirements:

• Strong experience in reading and writing SQL. Ability to write, debug and tune SQL queries
• Deep knowledge of relational data modeling. Ability to think at an architectural level in creating, growing, maintaining, and documenting scalable data models
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Similar cloud or big data platforms

• Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
• Experience in C#, Python, or general programming
• Familiarity with SQL Server hardware and software configuration best practices
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure)
