Alegeus is a company focused on shaping the future of fintech and healthtech. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities, engage with key stakeholders, and build relationships to support revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, direct mail, and follow-up on inbound leads and marketing campaigns
- Identify and engage appropriate buyers, decision makers and influencers within target accounts to introduce and position Alegeus partner solutions
- Conduct research and discovery to understand market trends, prospect needs, and competitive positioning
- Qualify leads and uncover pain points to align Alegeus platform capabilities with prospect challenges
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects over time to grow the sales pipeline and support long-term revenue goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales ops, and account executives, while leveraging tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo to track and report on activities
Requirements:
- Creative, high-energy, and resourceful with a strong appetite to grow into a B2B technology sales professional
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation development
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and pipeline management best practices
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of sales experience—TPA, health insurance, benefits administration, or SaaS sales preferred
