Software Engineer - TULIP Interfaces

PCG is a company helping to deliver the Industry 4.0 revolution, and they are seeking a Software Engineer to develop applications on various partner platforms. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions while ensuring high-quality standards and collaboration within the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Build, and develop optimized data architectures, applications, and integrations that deliver key components of PCG’s product and built-to-purpose offerings
• Perform team based technical design and peer code reviews to ensure design objectives are met and best practice standards are adhered to
• Participate in design and architecture efforts while being principally responsible for bringing those visions to life via advanced app development platforms associated with our partners
• Adapt to changing priorities, and continually refine their technical skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent work experience with a focus on IT, Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related degree program
• 1+ years software design and development experience
• Must have experience with TULIP Interfaces
• 1+ years of experience with development on cloud-based framework (e.g. Google)
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies including: TypeScript / JavaScript, React and Node.js, REST APIs, SQL / NoSQL databases
• Understanding of the following concepts: relational data models, object-oriented programming concepts, event-driven programming concepts, source control, code repository and version control concepts, coding standards, patterns, and best practices
• General knowledge of business systems and processes
• Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed goals and objectives
• General understanding/experience with manufacturing processes and nomenclature
• General understanding/experience with ERP business systems and concepts
• Formal training/certification on no/low-code or AI-based development frameworks
• Agile software development methodology experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
