Senior Salesforce Developer

Zayo Group is a leading provider of mission-critical bandwidth solutions, serving impactful companies globally. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to architect, design, and implement Salesforce solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs and deliver high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to architect, design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and requirements
• Develop custom solutions using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
• Customize and configure Salesforce platform to extend its functionality and meet specific business needs including but not limited to enabling SiteTracker and Service Order Management integration
• Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools
• Deliver code to a high standard and be able to identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing functionality
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring new code is high quality and conforms to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and custom development
• Own new features through the project lifecycle, working collaboratively with a team of software developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and best practices for impact assessment and necessary system changes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience.)
• Minimum of 7 years' experience and expertise in Salesforce development with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise-level clients
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices
• Experience with Salesforce integration technologies and patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Proficient at using Git for version control, review and CI/CD deployment
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and experience using a variety of remote collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, etc
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Agile development environment
• Salesforce.com certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Javascript, React, etc
• Experience working with various databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle
• Experience in building and/or integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Experience creating and executing automated software testing
• Experience with various Inventory systems (Netbox, Nautobot, MetaSolv.)
• Familiarity with TM Forum APIs
