Canopy Connect is building the infrastructure that powers best-in-class insurance experiences. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll ensure that Canopy Connect’s API customers launch with our product quickly and successfully, requiring strong technical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end API onboarding and implementation for new customers, guiding technical teams through setup, testing, and go-live
- Serve as primary post-sale contact for strategic enterprise accounts, managing cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, and executive teams
- Act as an internal advocate for customer needs, providing structured feedback to product and engineering to inform roadmap priorities
- Analyze usage data to identify expansion opportunities and ensure customers realize measurable value from Canopy Connect’s platform
- Support contract renewals and growth initiatives in partnership with Sales, Engineering and Leadership
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience
- Experience with our tech stack: Node.js + Express, React + TailwindCSS + Next.js + React Aria, PostgreSQL, Design skills in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop or similar, Amazon Web Services
- Proven success managing large or strategic enterprise accounts with complex integration needs
- Demonstrated ability to design and operationalize customer success processes in early-stage or scaling organizations
- Strong technical acumen and ability to troubleshoot issues related to APIs, data integrations, and authentication workflows
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to deliver customer-driven solutions
- Understanding of UX principles, workflow optimization, and data security protocols
