Entry Level Software Engineer - ANF (Azure NetApp Files)

NetApp is a company passionate about cloud technologies and developing innovative cloud-based solutions. They are seeking a highly motivated engineer to help develop and operate cloud-scale distributed systems for Azure NetApp Files, focusing on storage, networking, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the functional, performance and scalability of data plane rich with data management
• Own features through the entire software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support
• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native services leveraging containers, microservices, distributed systems principles, and modern CI/CD practices
• Drive engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions spanning storage, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and customer-facing experiences
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to help drive technical excellence and engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability, scalability, and operational improvements
• Work closely with product management, architects, and partner teams to translate customer and business requirements into high-quality technical solutions
• Effectively communicate technical concepts, design tradeoffs, and project status to stakeholders across the organization
• Contribute to the technical growth of the team through knowledge sharing, code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship opportunities
