Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Platform Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications and integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Apache Kafka, AWS, and enterprise integration architecture, with a proven ability to define technical strategy and lead large-scale platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Define enterprise integration architecture using Spring Integration, Apache Kafka, REST APIs, and event-driven microservices.
• Architect and develop high-performance, secure, and resilient distributed systems on AWS.
• Design messaging, API integration, and asynchronous communication solutions.
• Lead technical architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and high availability.
• Establish best practices for software architecture, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native development.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java development experience with strong architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems.
• Experience designing cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and AWS IAM.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Familiarity with API management platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or MuleSoft.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification is a plus.
