We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a high-impact modernization program in Cleveland, Ohio. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can connect business priorities with technical execution while partnering with stakeholders across a complex software environment. The role will focus on clarifying needs, improving processes, and helping guide a multi-year shift to a SaaS-based platform.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders, project teams, and technical resources to uncover, refine, and confirm functional and business needs.
Create clear documentation such as requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional definitions that support delivery teams.
Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design improved future-state processes aligned with operational goals.
Act as the primary link between end users and technical teams to ensure solutions reflect business expectations and priorities.
Support the transition from a legacy server-based application to a SaaS environment by providing functional analysis and business context.
Work alongside implementation partners and internal contributors to track gaps, resolve questions, and strengthen solution usability.
Contribute to test planning, test scenario review, and user acceptance activities to help confirm successful outcomes.
Offer recommendations that improve system effectiveness, user experience, and overall business performance throughout the transformation.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst supporting software implementations, system upgrades, or migration initiatives.
Strong ability to gather requirements, analyze processes, and produce thorough business and functional documentation.
Hands-on experience working with Agile or Scrum delivery models in cross-functional project environments.
Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud-based transformations, or similar modernization efforts.
Skill in conducting gap analysis and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
Proven success collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and external delivery partners on large-scale initiatives.
Experience in Dealer Management Systems, retail technology, or related operational software environments is strongly preferred.
