·         This position is full-time, 100%.

·         Work Schedule: Falls between 7:30am – 5:00pm.

Qualifications | Senior Occupational Therapist | Inpatient Acute Care

Required Qualifications:

·         A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required.

·         Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy is required.

·         2+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy is required, with a high degree of understanding and skill in one or more areas of assigned responsibility.

·         Demonstrated skills in clinical education abilities.

·         Demonstrated leadership abilities.

·         Demonstrated experience as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Desirable Qualifications:

·         3+ years of experience in Occupational Therapy.

·         3+ years of experience in one or more assigned areas of responsibility is desired.

·         Ability to practice in an autonomous manner.

·         Demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency in provision of patient care.

·         Demonstrated effort to enhance one’s own knowledge, skills, and abilities.

·         Demonstrated program/service development or quality improvement projects.
