The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest database admin spec in our Office of IT Services located at our Central Office in beautiful downtown Columbus, Ohio.

As a database admin spec, you will conduct performance tuning and configuration and tune DBMS systems running on a single platform. You will design and maintain various versions of data models and participate in the Change Review board. You will create Entity Relation Diagrams (ERD) and conduct data normalization and write platform specific code.
You will perform data migrations and business process monitoring, report business intelligence, and monitor warehouse processes. You will research product enhancement and capabilities and stay current with emerging technologies. You are going to work closely with clients and business analysts and software development staff to define and resolve information flow and content issues.
You will also develop knowledge of principles, theories, practices, and techniques for project planning – and answer questions and present to peers and staff.
