As an After School Group Leader with Kamaʻāina Kids, you'll turn afternoons into opportunities for children to learn, play, build friendships, and discover new interests. Every day brings something different, from leading active games to helping with homework or guiding creative projects.

$18–$21/hour + Benefits for Part-Time Employees
Monday through Friday afternoons
Typical shifts from 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
Wednesday shifts begin around 12:30 PM for early-release schools
No evenings
No weekends
No holiday shifts
Up to 75% childcare tuition discounts
College tuition assistance of up to $1,000 per semester

You'll help create an engaging, welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to come each afternoon by:
Leading games, sports, and recreational activities
Planning crafts, STEM projects, and enrichment experiences
Helping students with homework and academic support
Building positive relationships with children and families
Encouraging teamwork, kindness, and respectful behavior
Keeping programs organized, safe, and fun
We're looking for people who:
Enjoy working with elementary-aged children
Bring enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude
Are dependable and ready to lead by example
Work well as part of a supportive team
Want to make a meaningful difference in their community
Are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
